Het historische kasteeldomein met park nodigt uit voor een gezonde wandeling. Op het 10 ha grote domein bevindt zich onder meer het Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917, gehuisvest in een kasteel in Normandische stijl en de bibliotheek van Zonnebeke. Voor het kasteel is er een grote visvijver. Naast de O.L.V.- kerk zijn door de jaren heen verschillende opgravingen geweest naar het verleden van de abdijkerk. Deze restanten werden voorgesteld in de archeologische tuin.
