Deze oude hoevegebouwen zijn perfect gerestaureerd en onderhouden. Gelukkig werd niet getracht een kasteel met torentjejes te maken. Het is nu een mooie woonst. De oorspronkelijke hoeve heeft een lange geschiedenis. De huidige benaming Verbrande Hoeve vindt men trouwens terug op de oude FERRARIS kaart, met dezelfde benaming in het frans. Op de Ferraris kaart werd een hof/hoeve niet met Ferme' aangeduid maar met de afkorting Cse van de eertijdse gangbare benaming 'Cense'. Deze kaarten werd door Napoleon gebruikt voor minder vreedzame bedoelingen.
