Description

Zes lindebomen staan als schermbeplanting bij een hoeve aan de overkant van de straat. De Hollandse lindes zijn gekandelaard en staan op een kleine berm tussen de straat en een huisweide. Op hoog gelegen plaatsen werden de gebouwen beschermd tegen weer en wind met bomen en bomenrijen. Linden werden voor deze toepassing gebruikt omdat ze een zéér dicht bladerdek hebben en ze bovendien ook konden gebruikt worden als leverancier van brand-, constructie-, geriefhout en loofvoedering.
