Rodebergstraat - 8950 Loker

Op de vluchtheuvel aan de voet van de Rodeberg in Westouter staat een kunstwerk. Een stalen constructie waarbij duiven centraal staan. Het heet “Vijf duiven op een geknotte boom”. De duif was in de oorlog een belangrijke boodschapper, maar in vredestijd symbool van vrede en geluk. De duiven rusten op een door de oorlog geknotte boomstam. De kunstenares is Lilli Willemsen uit Wijtschate. De zijkant stelt het golvend karakter van de gemeente Heuvelland voor. Het is geplaatst op een ovaal van 1m45 en het is 3m75 hoog.
