Speelzone “Waterstraat”
Een oud voetbalveldje werd in 2020-2021 heringericht tot speelzone. Bij de uitwerking heeft de Vlaamse Landmaatschappij ingespeeld op het thema van de Bronstijd. Verschillende cirkelvormige structuren op het speelpleintje verwijzen naar grafheuvels uit deze periode. Via luchtfoto’s zijn de afgelopen decennia veel cirkelvormige sporen ontdekt in de omgeving van de Rivierbeek in Oostkamp.
