Links merk je tussen de bomen nog het Goed Ter Looveren, een ontginningshoeve uit de 13de eeuw. In feite bestaat het uit 2 delen: een ‘goed’, dat in de volgende eeuwen nog dienst deed als gevangenis, maar ook als ‘huis van plaisance’ en uiteindelijk kasteeltje. Daarnaast ook een hoeve, waarvan het poortgebouw dateert van 1636. De hoevegebouwen zijn illustratief voor de hoevebouw uit de 19de eeuw.
