Description

De kapel werd gebouwd in 1954 en bestaat uit witgeschilderde baksteen.

In deze bidplaats, gewijd aan Onze Lieve Vrouw der armen, staan enkele banken achter een ijzeren hekken. Buiten is er ook een stenen zitplaats.

Ze is gelegen aan de zuster Clarastraat. Zuster Clara (Ichtegem, 1870-1932), was actief op het gehucht en de school van "De Reiger". Er waren heel wat seizoensarbeiders en Fransmans.
