2002 was hét wielerjaar voor Circuit Zolder. Zowel het WK op de weg als het WK Veldrijden vonden hier plaats.
Deze recreatieve route leidt je vanaf het Circuit van Zolder naar Hasselt en vervolgens naar Bokrijk waar je 'In het wiel van de Sixties' kan fietsen. Via de Wijers - het land van 1001 vijvers - rij je doorheen een prachtig decor terug naar de 'wielertempel van Limburg'.
