De autosnelweg restplaats Rheintal ligt aan de A13 naast de dam van de Alpen Rijn op het grondgebied van de politieke gemeente Sevelen in het kanton St. Gallen, respectievelijk tegenover de hoofdplaats van het Vorstendom Liechtenstein, Vaduz.
De autosnelweg restplaats is de enige in Zwitserland die aan het Vorstendom Liechtenstein grenst en ligt op het laagste punt van de gemeente Sevelen op 451 m.ü.M. Kort na de rustplaats Rheintal stroomopwaarts verbindt de A13 zich met de autosnelweg A3 en gaat verder naar Chur, of Zürich, of in de richting stroomafwaarts gezien naar Buchs en verder naar St. Margrethen.
