De Zwitserse Federale Inspectie voor nucleaire veiligheid (ENSI) is de toezichthoudende autoriteit van Zwitserland voor nucleaire veiligheid en voor de beveiliging van nucleaire installaties; het houdt toezicht op de kerncentrales in Beznau, Gösgen, Leibstadt en Mühleberg, de onderzoeksreactoren van het Paul Scherrer Instituut, de Universiteit van Bazel en de Zwitserse Federale Technische Universiteit, evenals de Zwitserse nationale centrale tussentijdse opslagfaciliteit voor radioactief afval. Het hoofdkantoor van ENSI is gevestigd in Brugg in het kanton Aargau.
Voor zijn deel wordt ENSI gecontroleerd door de ENSI-Raad: dit orgaan wordt gekozen door de Zwitserse Federale Raad, waaraan het rechtstreeks rapporteert.
