Volgens de verhalen zou deze fictieve folkloristische figuur hier ook in Mölln verbleven hebben. Je vindt er dan tal van beelden en verwijzingen naar in de stad. Er wordt zelfs beweerd dat hij hier zou gestorven zijn aan de plaag.
