Fürstl. Fürstenbergische Sammlungen: glanspunt is de schilderijengalerij met werken van oude Duitse meesters (o.a. Holbein de Oudere en Math. Grunewald).
Donauquelle: de zogenaamde bron van de Donau kreeg in de 19de eeuw in het slotpark een monumentale aanleg. Zij geldt als de officiële oorsprong van de Donau, omdat in Donaueschingen de bronriviertjes van de Donau (Brigach en Breg) samenvloeien. Geografisch geldt de bron van de Breg ook als bron van de Donau. Riedsee: het vrijetijdscentrum aan de oever van het Riedmeer beschikt over een groot strand, bootverhuur, surfschool, camping.
