Het kasteel Kipfenberg is een sporenkasteel op een steile 430 m boven NHN hoge rots, oostelijk boven de gemeente Kipfenberg, Burgstraße, in de Landkreis Eichstätt in Beieren.
Het kasteel werd in de 12e eeuw gebouwd en was in 1277 in bezit van de ridders Kropf, die zich naar het kasteel Kropf van Kipfenberg noemden en eerder ministerialen van de graven van Hirschberg, bezitters van kasteel Hirschberg, waren. Op 11 september 1301 verkocht Konrad, bijgenaamd Struma, het „castrum et oppidum Kipfenberg“ met alle bezittingen aan het Hochstift Eichstätt.
