De Litberg in Sauensiek ligt in het noordwesten van het gelijknamige landschap beschermde gebied en is met 65 m boven NHN de hoogste verhoging in de gemeente Stade.
De Litberg ligt op de geest ten westen van de Harburger bergen, ongeveer 2,5 km ten zuiden van Beckdorf in de gemeente Sauensiek. De Litberg is een met berken, dennen, eiken en elzen bedekte, kleine heuvel, die is ontstaan als een ijstijdmorene.
