De Nördliche Regnitz of Onder Regnitz is een rechter zijrivier van de Saksische Saale in de Landkreis Hof in Oberfranken.
Ze heeft twee bronbeken. De eerste ontspringt op ongeveer 570 m boven zeeniveau tussen Münchenreuth en Gutenfürst en heet in zijn bovenloop Heubach, vanaf een vijver nabij het gehucht Föhrig dan Litschenbach. De tweede is de Aubach, die zijn bron ongeveer 580 m boven zeeniveau nabij het Feilitzcher deelgemeente Unterhartmannsreuth heeft. De samenvloeiing ligt precies onder de snelweg A72, net ten westen van het autobahndreieck Hochfranken. Van hier stroomt de Regnitz in zuidwestelijke richting door Feilitzsch en bereikt bij het sinds 1972 bij Hof ingelijfde dorp Unterkotzau op 465 m boven zeeniveau de Saale. De totale lengte, inclusief de Litschenbach, bedraagt ongeveer 10 km.
