De zendtoren Weilerskopf is een in 1969 voltooide type toren van het type "FMT 2" met een hoogte van 130,7 meter. Hij bevindt zich op het grondgebied van een exclave van de gemeente Herxheim am Berg. Tegenwoordig wordt hij alleen nog gebruikt voor mobiele telefonie en punt-naar-punt verbindingen. Radiouitzendingen vonden hier alleen plaats in DAB-modus. Dit was de hoofdzender voor blok LB van het Ludwigshafener L-band met een ERP van 1 kW. Deze DAB-zender is ondertussen uitgeschakeld.
