Het fort Dömitz is een fort in Mecklenburg-Voor-Pommeren. Het ligt strategisch gunstig aan de Elbe in de stad Dömitz.
Beschermd door de Elbe werd in de 13e eeuw een rond kasteel op een hoogwatervrije plek gebouwd. Van de gebouwen, die uit veldstenen en bakstenen zijn opgetrokken, is weinig bewaard gebleven. De fundamenten van een ronde toren zijn aangetoond bij opgravingen in het fortterrein. Gebouwsubstantie van de palas en van een enkele meters verder westelijk staande toren is in het huidige museumgebouw nog aanwezig in het onderste gedeelte.
