De Katschhof is een prachtig centraal gelegen openbaar plein in de Duitse stad Aken. De naam is afgeleid van Kaxhoff, later Kackshoff of Katzhoff en is verbonden met de plek van de voormalige schandpaal (‘Katz’). Het was op deze plek waar men uit alle windstreken bijeenkwam voor handel. Door de unieke ligging tussen de Dom en het stadhuis van Aken straalt het een bijzondere sfeer uit. Op dit plein worden grote evenementen georganiseerd zoals concerten, de weekmarkten en de wereldberoemde Akense kerstmarkt.
