Het voormalige kapucijnenklooster van Riedlingen wordt tegenwoordig gebruikt als stadsbibliotheek en stadsarchief. De kloosterkerk St. Sebastian wordt beschouwd als een van de vroegste barokkerken van Oberschwaben.
Het klooster werd gebouwd tussen 1645 en 1655. In oktober 1655 verhuisden de eerste kapucijnerpaters. Zij namen vooral pastorale taken op zich in Riedlingen en omgeving. De economische basis van het klooster bestond uit donaties en een hostiebakkerij voor de omliggende gemeenschappen en kloosters.
