De Krebsbach is een linkse zijrivier van de Kahl in het Spessart in de Landkreis Aschaffenburg in het Onder-Franconia. Hij stroomt voornamelijk in noordwestelijke richting.
De Krebsbach ontspringt als Vockenbach in een vallei aan de Hahnenkammrug bij Mömbris-Hemsbach ten noorden van de Stempelhöhe. Hij stroomt door de smalle Krebsbachkloof tussen de Schanzenkopf en de Hahnenkammhoofdpunt. Hier bevinden zich rechts van de rivierloop op twee heuvels de voormalige locaties van de Randenburg en de Vergeten Burg. Links van de rivier ligt op de top van de Schanzenkopf een historische ringwal. In de onderste vallei wordt de Krebsbach als wateraanvoer voor enkele vijvers gebruikt. In Alzenau kruist de Krebsbach de Märkerstraße en stroomt tegenover de parkeerplaats bij het kasteel Alzenau in de Kahl.
