De Rijn-Main International Montessori School was van 2004 tot 2015 naast de Philipp-Reisschool een van de twee voortgezet onderwijsscholen in Friedrichsdorf. De RIMS bevond zich in vrije beheer en was de jongste school van de stad. Als een van de weinige internationale Montessori-scholen van Duitsland verenigde ze het gehele spectrum van de Montessoripedagogiek van het kinderhuis, via de basisschool tot aan het gymnasium onder één dak. Met uitzondering van de bovenbouw van het gymnasium werkte de RIMS volgens de normen van de Association Montessori Internationale, een soort keurmerk voor Montessori-instellingen.
