De Steinbach is een rechter en noordoostelijke zijrivier van de Main bij Kleinostheim in het Beierse Spessart. Het ontspringt als afwateringsgreppel boven het Johannesberger deel Steinbach.
Vanaf de gelijknamige gemeente draagt de beek de naam Steinbach. Deze stroomt het smalle Steinbachtal binnen, waar men de vroegere locatie van de Menzenmühle vermoedt. Vanaf rechts mondt de Roßbach in. Enkele honderden meters verderop herdenkt een bord aan een rotswand langs de beek, de zogenaamde "Jahnfelsen", de turnvader Jahn.
