Kirnbach is een stadsdeel van Wolfach in de Ortenaukreis in Baden-Württemberg.
Kirnbach is een verspreide nederzetting met veel boerderijen langs de kleine rivier de Kirnbach.
De naam Kirnbach komt van het Middelhoogduitse woord Kürn. De plaats werd voor het eerst genoemd in het jaar 1275 als Kurnbach of Kurenbach.
Kirnbach behoorde tot het heerlijkheidsgebied van de heren van Hornberg.
De plaats kwam door huwelijk aan hertog Reinhold van Urslingen en na zijn dood aan de lijn van Geroldsecker uit Sulz. Via deze kwam Kirnbach met het gehele Oberamt Hornberg aan het Koninkrijk Württemberg.
