De Grundsbach is een 4,8 kilometer lange linkse zijrivier van de Oelze in het Thüringer Schiefergebirge.
De bron van de Grundsbach bevindt zich op 648 m boven zeeniveau nabij de Wiegandsmühle westelijk van Großbreitenbach. In de verdere loop stroomt hij door het Grundstal langs de Grundsmühle en het vakantiepark Hundertpfund, voordat hij ter hoogte van de Leutnantsmühle in de Oelze uitmondt.
