De regio rondom Monschau is er 1 van uitzonderlijke schoonheid en deze wandeling is perfect geschikt om je te bewijzen dat er hier niet overdreven wordt. De tocht start en eindigt aan een parking in het Grünenthal en neemt je mee doorheen de vallei en voor een deel ook langs toppen en de vlaktes in de omgeving van Rohren.
