Corselitze Forest is gelegen op het Deense eiland Falster. Gelegen in het noordoosten van het eiland, bevat het kruisdennenplantages, hoewel beuken de meest voorkomende boomsoort zijn. Het bos, een herenhuis dat ook Corselitze heet, een zomerhuis, een uitgebreide tuin, landbouwgrond en bijkomende omliggende bossen werden ontwikkeld door generaal-majoor Johan Frederik Classen, een succesvolle zakenman die zijn fortuin verdiende met het runnen van een aantal bedrijven in Frederiksværk in het noorden van Zeeland. Hij had het Corselitze-landgoed in 1768 van de Kroon verworven. Toen hij in 1792 stierf, liet hij al zijn bezittingen na aan een liefdadigheidsstichting genaamd Det Classenske Fideicommis, die het bos tot op de dag van vandaag beheert.
