In 2017 verwierf Outrup Sogneforening 2,8 ha groen gebied in verband met de oorspronkelijke aanleg. In het gebied zijn wandel- en fietspaden aangelegd, en er is een picknickhuis met 2 tafel-banksets, een schommel, een evenwichtstoestel en speeltoestellen. Daarnaast is er een groter openluchtpodium, dat onder andere wordt gebruikt voor het organiseren van het jaarlijkse kindermuziekfestival, waaraan alle gastouderopvang, kleuterscholen en BSO's in de voormalige gemeente Blaabjerg deelnemen. Elke zomer heeft het openluchtpodium een podiumdecoratie met Frellos barnsteenafbeelding.
Er is begrazing/natuurbeheer op de percelen met paden en loopbruggen, evenals een brug over de Outrup Bæk naar de aanleg.
