De N-634 die van San Sebastian naar Santiago de Compostela gaat is een topper om te doen met de motor. Soms ga je vlak langs de zee gaan en bij andere gelegenheden ga je door het binnenland. Het loopt door de autonome gemeenschappen van het Baskenland (Guipúzcoa en Vizcaya), Cantabria, Asturië en Galicië (provincies Lugo en La Coruña). Het traject van ongeveer 15 km langs de Guipuzcoaanse kust tussen de steden Zarauz en Zumaya, wordt beschouwd als de mooiste in Spanje.

Net als bij vele nationale routes loopt deze soms parallel aan de A-8 Cantabrische autovia.

Sterk aanbevolen, fantastische route.
