De kerk is gelegen in het Franse departement Creuse, in de gemeente Toulx-Sainte-Croix. Deze kerk is gewijd aan het Heilig Kruis en aan de heilige Martial, apostel van Limousin, die volgens zijn legende daar zijn prediking zou zijn begonnen. Het gebouw is in 1986 geklasseerd als historisch monument.
