Abdij Thiron-Gardais was de moeder abdij van één van de grootste kloosterordes van de Middeleeuwen, de Orde van Tiron.
De kerk is regelmatig open en je kunt genieten van de sfeer van een van de centra van de middeleeuwse spiritualiteit en de thematische tuinen. Daarnaast is een infocentrum gevestigd in de " Tiendenschuur" (tienden is de pacht of tolheffing (10% opbrengst)
