U verlaat Commercy via een groene weg naar Lérouville (8 km) en neemt dan secundaire wegen met weinig verkeer naar Saint-Mihiel, de geboorteplaats van de renaissancebeeldhouwer Ligier Richier. Mis “La mise au tombeau” in de kerk Saint-Etienne en de benedictijnse bibliotheek niet.
Wees voorzichtig, het is een steile klim vanuit Ailly-sur-Meuse.
