Sherston is een dorp en civil parish in de unitary authority Wiltshire, in het Engelse graafschap Wiltshire. De civil parish telt 1639 inwoners.
In 1016 werd het leger van Koning Knoet geconfronteerd met de Saksen. Een twee dagen durende veldslag in de heuvels rond Sherston vond plaats. John Rattlebone of Sherston, de leider van de lokale militie, is het symbool van Sherston en zijn bevolking geworden. De plaatselijk pub "The Rattlebone Inn" is naar hem genoemd.
