Glyn Tarell is een dal en een gemeenschap in het graafschap Powys, Wales, en het historische graafschap Brecknockshire. Het ligt in het Brecon Beacons National Park en aan de noordelijke rand van de Brecon Beacons-bergen.
De Taff Trail loopt door het dal. Het administratieve gebied van de gemeenschap strekt zich uit over een groot gebied van dunbevolkt land en strekt zich verder naar het zuiden uit voorbij de waterscheiding om het hoogste deel van de rivier de Taff en het Beacons Reservoir op te nemen. Een groot deel van zijn noordgrens wordt gevormd door de rivier de Usk. De piek Pen y Fan ligt aan de oostgrens van de gemeenschap. De belangrijkste dorpen in de gemeenschap zijn Libanus en Llanspyddid.
