De Milleniumbrug werd voor het jaar 2000 ontworpen door architect Sir Norman Foster. Het was de eerste voetgangersbrug die de rivier de Thames kruiste sinds meer dan een eeuw. Deze 325m stalen brug verbindt de City of London aan St. Paul's Cathedral met het Tate Modern Gallery aan de Bankside.
De brug kwam sterk in het nieuws in het jaar 2000 toen deze begon te schommelen door de wind. Ze kreeg daarom de bijnaam "the wobbly brige".
In 2006 gebruikte de geluidssculptuur-kunstenaar Bill Fontana de vibraties van de brug om deze om te zetten in muziek. Deze kunnen beluisterd worden in het Tate Modern Museum
