Stap terug in de tijd op deze prachtige route van 85 mijl die een oude kalksteenrug volgt die door prehistorische mensen werd gebruikt. Het pad begint bij Overton Hill in Wiltshire aan de rand van de Marlborough Downs en gaat oostwaarts door de Chiltern Hills naar Ivinghoe Beacon in Buckinghamshire.
Hoogtepunten op deze fascinerende route zijn een reeks forten uit de ijzertijd, het beroemde Uffington White Horse, de mooie Chiltern Hills en een prachtig stuk langs de rivier de Thames in Goring-on-Thames.
