Description by the author

Deze wandeling start aan het station van Fort William. Het eerste deel loopt richting het Caledonian Canal, via het begin van Glen Nevis. Het Caledonian Canal werd voltooid in 1822. De route komt hier langs Neptune's Staircase. Dat bestaat uit maar liefst 8 sluizen op een rij. De route volgt het kanaal verder tot aan de monding in Loch Linnhe. Je wandelt verder zuidelijk langs de oever van Loch Linnhe tot in Fort William.
