Dit is wat er gebeurde in Termeno in jan 2014. Zoals je weet, heeft een vallei die is ontstaan door een gletsjer, zoals de Adige-vallei, zeer steile valleiwanden. Daarom worden deze valleien U-vormige valleien genoemd, ook wel trogdalen of glaciale troggen genoemd. De steile valleiwanden zijn instabiel (afhankelijk van het type gesteente). En ze zijn gevoelig voor aardverschuivingen, zoals je kan zien in deze video.
