De Duivelsbrug of brug van Ròch werd in 1378 gebouwd met als doel Lanzo Torinese en zijn valleien met Turijn te verbinden.
De Duivelsbrug werd in 1378 gebouwd met de goedkeuring van de plaatsvervangend kasteelheer van Lanzo, Aresmino Provana di Leynì, medewerker van Amedeo VI van Savoye. De kosten voor de bouw, volledig gedragen door de Castellania van Lanzo, bedroegen 1400 florijnen. De Duivelsbrug diende om Lanzo en zijn valleien met Turijn te verbinden door de Stura te oversteken en zo de doorgang via Balangero, Mathi en Villanova, gebieden die werden bestuurd door de prinsen van Acaja, en Corio, onder controle van de markiezen van Monferrato, beide vijandig tegenover de Savoye, te vermijden.
