Het Stramentizzo-stuwmeer bevindt zich in het Fleimstal in Italië op een hoogte van 787 m boven zeeniveau. Administratief is het verdeeld tussen de gemeente Castello-Molina di Fiemme in Trentino en de gemeente Altrei in Zuid-Tirol. Het stuwmeer werd in 1956 voltooid op de plaats van het dorp Stramentizzo, dat werd vervangen door een nieuwe gelijknamige nederzetting aan de oostkant van het water. Van het oude dorp is slechts de poort van de engelenkerk bewaard gebleven.
