Het paleisje werd gebouwd in 1898 volgens het ontwerp van de architect Marco Aurelio Crotta voor de familie Peirano. In de jaren 60 schonk de eigenaar van die tijd, de rijke Milanees Giovanni Battista Massone, het pand aan de gemeente Milaan, die het omtoverde tot een vakantiehuis voor de studenten van de basisscholen en de middelbare scholen in Milaan.[1][2]
