De Torre Guinigi is één van de gezichtsbepalende torens in Lucca. Met name de oude eiken die op de top van de vijfenveertig hoge toren groeien zorgen voor zijn karakteristieke uiterlijk. De toren is gebouwd door de familie Guinigi die deze bomen op het dak plantte als symbool voor de wedergeboorte. De toren is tegenwoordig in bezit van de stad Lucca. Hij kan bezocht worden. Vanaf de toren heb je een prachtig uitzicht over de stad en zijn vele monumenten. Je moet dan wel even de 230 trappen opklimmen.
