Op oorlogspad
Vat het maar niet te letterlijk op, op oorlogspad. Toch ga je door een regio trekken die jarenlang gebukt ging onder het oorlogsgeweld. De Eerste Wereldoorlog woedde in alle hevigheid bezuiden de taalgrens, in de Ardennen, de streek van La Roche, Martelange en Bastenaken (Bastogne). Die Grote Oorlog heeft de regio voor altijd getekend. Een aantal van die littekens ligt op de route, en op weg naar Oesling, het noordelijke deel van het Groothertogdom Luxemburg.
