Description

De rosmolen werd in 1546 gebouwd als aanvulling op de al bestaande windmolen in opdracht van de toenmalige eigenaren de Graven Van den Bergh in dezelfde locatie. De graven verpachtten na de bouw van de rosmolen de complete locatie met torenmolen en de molenaar gebruikte de rosmolen als er te weinig wind was om te kunnen malen met behulp van het paard van de boer. In 1866 werd de molen verkocht en gesloopt als rosmolen. In 1974 werd met behulp van de originele bouwtekeningen die bewaard waren gebleven in het archief van het Huis Bergh de rosmolen herbouwd.
