De Baardwijkse Overlaat is een natuurgebied tussen Drunen en Waalwijk en is sinds 1978 in beheer van Vereniging Natuurmonumenten. Het gebied werd aangelegd in 1766 en functioneerde voor het eerst in 1769. Het gebied had de functie om het water van de Maas op te vangen in tijden van overstromingen.
