De Maagd Maria Kerk is de eigenlijke naam van deze kerk in Lienden. De parochie van Lienden is gesticht aan het einde van de 11e eeuw. De eerste hervormde dominee kwam in 1582. Het huidige kerkgebouw dateert net als de toren uit de 15de eeuw. In het koor van de kerk bevinden zich muurschilderingen uit dezelfde periode. De laatste restauratie is van rond 1980. Op hetzelfde plein staat tegenover de kerk de voormalige pastorie, een prachtig mooi wit gepleisterde boerderij.
