Villa Klondike was tijdens Operation Market Garden het hoofdkwartier van kolonel Howard R. Johnson. Hij voerde vanuit dit huis zijn troepen aan. Op de villa is het embleem van de 101ste Airborne Divisie aangebracht. Op de toegangspoort is de naam Klondike aangebracht en bij de voordeur is een plaquette bevestigd. Klondike was de codenaam van het 501ste regiment van de 101ste Airborne Divisie.
