Tussen de Reekse en de Gaalse Heide, ten zuiden van Reek, ligt de Mineursberg. Waar vroeger mijnen knalden en later motoren crossten, spelen kinderen nu verstoppertje. Tachtig hectare aan heidegebied om te ontdekken. Er is een waterbron aanwezig en er liggen wandelroutes door het hele gebied. Voor wie de hoogteverschillen liever per fiets bedwingt, is er een terreinfietsroute.
