Auto: start bij parkeerplaats* t.o. Ludenlaan 1, 3941 CN Doorn, gemeente Utrechtse Heuvelrug, Nederland. Gratis parkeren.

Trein: NS-station Maarn, Nederland (met stoptrein vanuit Utrecht).

In elk seizoen een fraaie rondwandeling in het bosrijke Nationaal Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug (gratis toegankelijk). U komt langs een uitkijktoren in de Kaapse Bossen, de Maarsbergse eng, een grafheuvel en twee NS-stations in Maarn. Op de terugweg loopt u op voormalige gemeentegrenzen, langs de plaats waar de trein vroeger ook stopte, langs het Aspergeveld en door het oude Ludenbos in Doorn. Detailinformatie over met name de natuur in én geschiedenis en geologie van dit gebied wordt bij Bezienswaardigheden gegeven. Kortom, deze door de Maarssense hiker J.J. samengestelde tocht is Op en Top Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

* Restaurants en cafe's bevinden zich op 750 meter van de parkeerplaats in het centrum van Doorn.
