De Allegorie op de Feiras Novas en Folklore is een werk van de beeldhouwer Salvador Vieira, ingehuldigd in 2009.
De Feiras Novas zijn festivals in de gemeente Ponte de Lima, die sinds 1825 gehouden worden in het tweede weekend van september, ter ere van Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Smarten. Het zijn de belangrijkste en grootste feesten in Ponte de Lima. Naast muziek, folklore en vuurwerk zijn er ook veewedstrijden, paardenraces, etnografische en historische optochten, gigantones en cabeçudos... etc...
