Naar Rua Água Abaixo, Viana do Alentejo

De vierde etappe van de Caminho Nascente voert door een licht geaccidenteerd landschap. Doordat de route constant op en neer gaat, moeten er flink wat hoogtemeters worden gemaakt. 
Enkele km's buiten Beja wordt de weg gedurende 6-7 km onverhard, maar is redelijk begaanbaar. Halverwege biedt Vidigueira een welkome stop. Het is een van de belangrijke wijncentra in de Alentejo. Daarna stijgt de route geleidelijk naar het hoogste punt van de dag om vervolgens via wat kleinere plaatsjes richting Evora te leiden. De laatste km's gaan langs de drukke N18, helaas niet te vermijden.

Evora is toeristisch maar niet zonder reden. Het is een van de hoogtepunten op de Caminho Nascente.
